Cool, crisp morning

Full of leaves, birds and breeze–

Sunlight washes over all.

Summer Starts Tonight

Majestic forest of green--
Leaves shimmering with multiple shapes and shades
absorbing warm sun;
Bird drops breadcrumb and flies to tree.

WHICH IS IT?

White spitting snow--

Gently swaying bamboo trees that reach to the sky--

Late winter or early spring.

FROSTY MORNING

WHITE FROST SPARKLE

ON LEAVES, VINES AND CARS--

COLD NIGHTS GIVE BIRTH TO CRISP MORNINGS.

LEAF

GENTLY DRIFTING LEAF,

COMING TO REST WITH POINTS STRAIGHT UP--

TOTAL SURRENDER.
