Saturday Morning

A green tide unfurls-

Red,  yellow, white, pink tulips;

The strong smell of rain.

Warm Still Pond

Softly croaking frogs;

Bird glides over the warm still pond-

Life returns anew.

Morning Light

Damp tortoise-shell sky;

Birds breathe in cool air, sometimes-

Morning light shimmers.

Misty Morning

Fine misty rain falls;

Grey morning is cool and fresh–

Green bamboo grows strong.

April Morning

Green mist of leaf buds;
Skunk cabbages slowly unfurl--
Sun brings all to life.

Warm sun on the earth-
Birds busily chirping about-
Clouds play peekaboo.
